Time To Talk

Time to Talk is a public speaking competition open to all schools in Hong Kong, with the finals held at the EDB services section in Kowloon Tong.

 

Two teams from our school attended the final of the competition on 6 May. Both our teams spent a lot of time preparing for the competition, with the result that they both performed exceptionally during the event, receiving praise and positive comments from not only the judges but also their peers from other schools.

 

Our students displayed diligence, resilience and confidence to improve on their performances from the previous year. They were able to develop extremely creative scripts, connecting well with great teamwork skills and commitment to produce outstanding performances.

 

Not only that, but they demonstrated great maturity and spoken English skills in giving positive comments and encouragement to teams from other schools during the student feedback session.

 

All in all, this process was an engaging journey of discovery for the students taking part.
