YY1 Drama Taster Day

In order to enrich our students’ English experience, a crew of English Musical was formed. With the help of Chatteris, a non-profit organisation, our students took part in our Drama Taster Day with the English teachers on Saturday morning.

 

Thanks to Chatteris, we have extra CNETs, Zachery and Susie, to help us with the activity. The day kicked off with some icebreaking games to get everyone talking in English.

 

The most engaging game had to be the Tongue Twister with Emotions. Students rolled the dice to decide which emotion (1: Happy, 2: Sad, 3: Confused, 4: Angry, 5: Excited, 6: Tired) should be used in reading the tongue twister. Some students came up with very creative ways to express their emotions.

 

Last but not least, it was the drama part. We all watched a short clip of Doraemon (English version), using the hall's new LED wall.  Our students formed different groups to perform different scenes.

 

All of them did brilliantly! Well done everyone! Remember, if you are having fun, you are number one.
