Welcoming Edinburgh Students for an Unforgettable Day of Cultural Exchange!

On Thursday, 8th October 2026, HKTA The Yuen Yuen Institute No.1 Secondary School had the immense pleasure of welcoming visiting students from Edinburgh for a memorable cultural exchange day!

 

The day began with a warm welcome speech from Principal Mr. Kan Wai Hung, followed by exciting souvenir exchanges. Throughout the morning, our guests immersed themselves in vibrant local culture, taking part in Chinese calligraphy and interactive music lessons, followed by an insightful campus tour. Students also experienced an exciting Aviation Taster Class before enjoying a delightful dim sum lunch at Sun Kong Restaurant.

 

A key highlight of the visit was a hands-on workshop in the Smart Classroom, where students crafted traditional Dragon Beard’s Candy—a celebrated piece of intangible cultural heritage. It was a wonderful day of friendship, learning, and cultural connection!
