YY1 TripEdvisors – Morning Hike with Chatteris

09/03/2024

In order to extend students’ English learning environment outside the classroom, the YY1 English Department has arranged a wide range of activities from visiting theme parks like Ocean Park to learning about local development and cultures such as different museums. Their footprints can be found everywhere around Hong Kong.

In March, our students were lucky enough to go on a morning hike with several Native English volunteers including Luke, Anastasia and Toby. It was a rainy day, but when we set off from So Kwun Wat, the rain stopped.

It might not be the most desirable weather for the hike, but we could still enjoy and admire the beauty of nature as the mist did not affect the visibility much. We had a morning of work out and at the same time, our students had a chance to interact with Native English speakers in English.

All the students and volunteers enjoyed the trip on a misty and cool morning. Remember, if you are having fun, you are No.1!
